Midnight Munchies

Hey everyone. So yes it's 1:30 in the am and I'm up and running, not really but I'm still awake! I'm kind of an insomniac... I can never fall asleep before midnight or willingly wake up before noon! It's a vicious sleeping cycle but right now I'm kind of just dealing with it. Anyway I made these cupcakes a loooong time ago and had been meaning to post about them but one thing led to another and now I'm finally getting around to it. They're strawberry cupcakes made with REAL strawberries and strawberry yogurt so they aren't lacking in the flavor department! They were good then and I could really go for one right about now :P
But since I can't, I'll just have to reminisce...





I got the recipe form Cooking With Amy and I can say it's probably the best I've had. I think the secret is the yogurt, it makes for a really moist cupcake. The only downside [which was totally my fault] is that I used canned frosting [which I rarely do] because I didn't have any more strawberries and to be honest, I was just too lazy to make my own. Whenever I make them again I think I'll make the strawberry frosting but also a lemony buttercream. I think that would go very well with the strawberry flavors.
