Then I came up with this fat idea and I could not get it out of my head. I was like how good would an Oreo be with Nutella and marshmallow fluff dipped in chocolate. Don't ask how I come up with such things because I don't even know!
So here they are, my fantasy come to life. I decided last minute to top them off with some fleur de sel and that was just perfect to balance the sweetness overload.
This is my first time eating/using marshmallow fluff, EVER! I don't know how I have lived so long without it...
I recommend using a piping bag and a round tip for the fluff to cut out the mess and stickiness.
Ready to be frozen and dipped in chocolate!
Pretend I took pictures of me dipping them in chocolate and covering them with salt...
No shame!
I have the sweetest tooth out of anyone I know. Seriously, it's sickening, I could probably just eat straight tablespoons of sugar. With that being said, honestly one of these babies is enough. They call for a one cookie to one gallon of milk ratio. Even with the salt they are super sweet, so a little bit goes a long way.
I hope some other fatty out there tries them out. Let me know if you do!
Salted Chocolate Nutella & Fluff Oreos (that's a mouthful, no pun intended!)
- Oreos
- Nutella
- Marshmallow Creme/Fluff
- Semi sweet chocolate chips
- fleur de sel (optional)
-Split Oreos and scrape out the filling
-Using a piping bag and a round tip (I just used a Wilton coupler with no tip) pipe about a tablespoon of marshmallow creme onto one cookie
-Use a spatula to spread the other half with Nutella
-Sandwich cookies and freeze them for at least 10 minutes, you can freeze them solid if you'd like
-Melt chocolate chips and dip frozen cookies, sprinkle with fleur de sel while chocolate is still wet
-Freeze again until chocolate sets, ENJOY!
